If I were going to play drums, I’d want to play like Stanton Moore. He is a maniac on the skins. Beats the shit out his set every song.
Galactic at the Brooklyn Bowl Wednesday night was fantastic. Warren Haynes played the first set with Living Color’s Corey Glover…here is a video clip of their rendition of “Night People”, a real highlight.
They pulled out Led Zeppelin (Whole Lotta Love, When the Levee Breaks) Rolling Stones (Cocaine Eyes) Jimi Hendrix…wow.
The multitude of horn players was like no other show in this kinda venue. The Brooklyn Bowl is a great spot for live bands…me and my girl were perch elevated on the top stairs… a perfect view of the whole scene.
