Seeing Wilco live brings me closer to the band each time.
Dutchess Stadium, McCarren Pool, Hammerstein Ballroom…last night in Prospect Park Bandshell.
Rainy with a chance of meatballs (in this case bacon and pork)…the swirling wind, humidity and crowd juice made the venue’s bbqs capture the noses off all lumbered around the tree-laden bandshell, which by the way was decorated in this very cool hang lights.
I won’t ramble on about the show because Brooklyn Vegan beat me too it…click here…lots of great photos which I have featured here since my “professional camera” was denied entry at the security gate. (yes warning for any entering these parts again)

Tweedy’s Dylan-esque appearance was playful in a manly sort way. Kinda like Garth Hudson and Rick Danko dressing like hillbillies during their Woodstock days.
