Like the brightest comet shooting across the hot sticky summer night sky, Alabama Shakes visited rapid music fans at the great Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY.

Me and my gal stood front and center of the sold out crowd and were entertained to the core. Dancing, singing and swaying.

I have seen Brittany Howard and crew several times now (see Terminal 5 review and Williamsburg Theatre review (see pic below) and Brooklyn Bowl review…and she still gots it.

Mixing in a few new songs with her “old songs”  from “Boys and Girls”…which the crowd sings along with every word …the show never lost any momentum. Strong as bull, Kemo Sabe.

I am amazed that she has the stamina to stay that high for so long.


As I have said before…HOT TAMALE, GET HER WHILE SHE’S HOT!!!
