The Revivalists sold out the Brooklyn Bowl Friday night.


The place was jammed packed with a diverse mix of loyal fans. Joe B and crew were in the house in their usual right steps perch.


Although, I do not like their more pop-rock recent sound… The Revivalists are fun and make everyone dance.

Lead singer David Shaw is the male version of a “hot mess”. His Jagger-like slither and huge frickin’ afro hair remind me of David Johansen.


Good for them… I hope they keep the momentum going and bring the music back to the New Orleans swamp.
